A native of New England and a 2005 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Jenny DeHuff has been part of the Philadelphia media landscape for the past 15 years on just about every level of journalism. From covering cops and courts in Norristown to authoring Philly's hottest gossip column, Jenny finds what she likes to write about most is politics and navigating its murky waters each election cycle.

Judge: Tommy Joyner
Founder and engineer who established MilkBoy in 1994 as a rough-and-tumble punk and hip-hop recording studio in North Philadelphia. As head of MilkBoy’s engineers, Joyner is now responsible for production on over 100 records and demos each year, has added numerous composition jobs for film and television, and continues to perform as a drummer and side-musician both live and in the studio.

Radio personality at Philadelphia's premiere rock station 93.3 WMMR. With his passion for Rock music, we have brought his expertise to the 2014 PHL LIVE Center Stage and we are happy to have him back for our 5TH season.

David Ivory is a GRAMMY Award nominated Engineer. Although his roots are in rock, his first big shot came from recording and working with Philadelphia natives The Roots.Together, they tracked four groundbreaking albums (Organix, Do You Want More?!!!??!, Illadelph Halflife, Things Fall Apart) that are revered by hip-hop fans worldwide.

Maureen is the Jazz Program Director for WRTI. Maureen began her radio career at WRTI in 1999 while studying broadcasting at Temple University. Maureen can be heard on Mondays through Thursdays, from 9 pm to midnight.

Judge: Lovett Hines
Jazz Ensemble Director at the Clef Club has long been considered the greatest talent scout for the Philly jazz student scene. Lovett has played with numerous performance groups that include the 76th Army Band with Maceo Parker and Leonard Houston and the house band at Atlantic City Wonder Gardens.

Judge: Stephanie Seiple
Stephanie Seiple is the co-founder of the Tri State Indie Awards and she currently serves as the Recording Academy Philadelphia chapter's secretary. With deep roots in independent music, she is in the front-line when helping local artists.

Host: Marilyn Rodriguez
Marilyn Rodriguez is the producer of the Ahora Si! Radio Show on Mega 105.7FM
WEMG in Philadelphia. Recently joined Phillycam where she is one of the producers for “Atrevete” . It is the first bilingual TV show of that network which airs every Thursday thru Comcast.

Judge - Daniel de Jesus
Daniel received all of his artistic training in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia PA. He attended the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts in 1996 where he studied painting, graphics, drawing, and instrumental studies concentrating on the cello. After high school Daniel attended the University of the Arts and received a bachelors degree in fine arts concentrating on illustration in 2004.

Judge - Sophia Varoumas, Editor of That Mag
Sophia Varoumas is a music journalist born and raised in Philadelphia. She’s a Temple grad, with a life-long career here in the arts. She is celebrating 25 years in entertainment journalism, and her new position as circa 2022 That Mag Editor-In-Chief. She has been contributing to the That Mag since 2008.

Host: Markee "PLEX" Terry
Markee "Plex" Terry as everyone in the industry calls him is apart of the new wave of Philadelphia music executives, he is the Co producer of the Philly hip hop awards.

DJ Casper has become the official DJ for 104.7 fm (KUDK). He has toured with Eddie Hustle Clement (aka Butter) and the late Gerald Levert on the Live Vibe Tour
traveling as far as Europe and South America. DJ Casper has launched his own independent label - Caspaws Music Group.

Host: Louis Scaglione
Maestro Scaglione celebrates his 20th anniversary with the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra organization. He has led the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra on several international concert tours, with destinations including The 1998 World Youth Music Forum in Moscow; the Czech Republic and Italy (2000); China (2002); eastern and central Europe (2004); and Brazil (2007), where they performed to sold-out venues in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Kevin Gordan is a host at the Classicla/Jazz station WRTI. A veteran broadcaster, Kevin served as host on the classical music station WQXR in NYC for 15 years, and most recently was on the air at Classical South Florida WKCP, a station with frequencies in Miami, Naples, and West Palm Beach.

Host: Dyana Williams
Dyana Williams currently hosts a weekly broadcast, Soulful Sunday on Radio One's 100.3 WRNB from 10am to 3pm. She is also the former President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Recording Academy also known as the Grammys.

Judge: Carvin Haggins
A man of many different skills from a GRAMMY Award Winning and Multi-Platinum Selling Songwriter, Producer, Engineer, as well as Co-Founder of Karma Productions and Co-Creator of Forever Music. The Philadelphia native has written hit records for Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Musiq Soulchild, and has earned a reputation for creating songs that “say something.”

Judge: Craig White
Craig White’s career spans over 40 yrs. of working on projects with artists from virtually every genre of music, including Patti Labelle, Kool and The Gang, Gerald Levert, Phyllis Hyman, Elle Varner, and many, many others. He has engineering credits on several GRAMMY nominated and Grammy Award winning projects, and is currently working on several projects in development under his Sound Doctor Productions umbrella.
